In support of the South Okanagan-Similkameen Community Foundation’s 2015 Vital Sign Report, the FOA Board has identified AFFORDABLE HOUSING as its Community Priority.
According the 2015 Vital Signs report, affordable housing and poverty are significant issues for our Region. “Housing is a very basic need and if people do not have affordable housing then all other opportunities to take part in community is impacted” 2015 Vital Signs p.23.
The OFOA Board would welcome applicants who’s mandates affect positive change toward the issue of affordable housing.
