Frequently Asked Questions for the Okanagan Fest of Ale

The event is located at the Penticton Trade and Convention Center in the heart of Penticton in the beautiful Okanagan valley of British Columbia. 273 Power Street, Penticton BC.
This is an adult-only beverage tasting festival - babies and children or anyone under 19 is not permitted to be in the event. ID’s are checked at the door
There are no animals allowed to attend this event unless it is a medical
requirement.
Smoking is not permitted in the general festival area. We have a designated smoking zone - please go to the area indicated on the map.
Early bird tickets are until January 31 st
After January 31 tickets are as follows:
Friday tickets - $42.00
Saturday tickets - $46.00
Weekend passes - $62.00
Week leading up to Event- Single day $50.00, Weekend pass $70.00
Day of event – Single day $55.00, Weekend pass $80.00

Your ticket includes entry into the event, a tasting glass and entertainment
throughout the event. Tokens are sold separately.
Tokens are $2.50 and can be purchased with cash or credit card at any of our token selling stations within the festival. One token gets you a 5 oz pour of delicious craft beer or cider.
We encourage festival patrons to get dropped off and picked up by a designated driver as parking can be tricky during the festival. Thanks to the fine folks at the City of Penticton, we are pleased to have free public transportation for festival goers! Check the schedule in advance and show the bus driver your pass in order to get a free pass! Taxis are also available out front of the events but can be inconsistent so plan accordingly.

The Okanagan Fest of Ale craft beer awards take place at 3:00 PM on the
Saturday after our designated beer judges have tasted all of the delicious craft beer up for awards. This is also when we announce the People's Choice best awards for food, beer & cider.
The festival has donated $850,000 to local charities to date. Because of your attendance at our festival, local charities benefit significantly because of this event so come on down!
