Since 1996, the Okanagan Fest of Ale Society has provided over $700,000 in grants to local charitable organizations.

The Okanagan Fest of Ale Society accepts grant requests from only 1) registered not-for-profit and, 2) charitable organizations based in the *Regional District of the Okanagan Similakameen boundaries.  The grants are to assist with; capital projects, new program initiatives and equipment needs. The OFOA priorities organizations that support the health and well-being to community members year round.

Grant applications are accepted online June 1 – June 30th, with funds awarded annually by October 31st.
*Geographically, the Regional District is bounded by Manning Park to the west, Peachland to the north, Anarchist Mountain to the east and the United States border to the south.

Net proceeds from the event are gifted back to the community on an annual basis in the form of grants, bursaries and ongoing contributions to a Legacy Fund managed by the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan.

The Okanagan Fest of Ale Society is thrilled to be able to ‘give back’ to the community and as on October 2018 is proud to have dispersed $697,660 in cash since 1996.
